Oxen
Oxen is an Emacs Lisp library for working with Org export backends. It has features for:
- Writing your own export backends in a (more) modular way, with
oxen-define-derived-backendand the (cl) generic methodoxen-transcode. - Convenience functions for adding to Org export-related alists, with
oxen-defproject,oxen-define-latex-class, and evenoxen-deflink. - Auto-export on save with
oxen-auto-export-mode. - Various scraps and utilities:
- A custom
org-confirm-babel-evaluatefunctionoxen-caching-confirm-babel-evaluatewhich lets you allow or deny execution once in a session. - Org parse tree viewer, with
oxen-view-element,oxen-view-buffer-element, andoxen-view-selected-region. - Export backend describer, with
oxen-describe-backend.

Installation
This package should not be expected to be especially stable, as it is primarily for my own personal use. Namely for compiling my website and master's thesis. Do not expect more of it at this time (or in the future either).
Nevertheless, you may install this package using, for example:
;; straight.el -- https://github.com/radian-software/straight.el
(straight-use-package '(oxen :type git :repo "https://git.eutro.dev/eutro/oxen.git"))
;; Eask -- https://github.com/emacs-eask
(depends-on "oxen" :repo "https://git.eutro.dev/eutro/oxen.git")
;; Your filesystem:
;$ git clone https://git.eutro.dev/eutro/oxen.git /path/to/oxen
(add-to-list 'load-path "/path/to/oxen")
Development
